What is a good pay scale for hiring someone to come in home and Clean. details …?
This persona would come in 1 time a week to take care of household duties..
The duties would include:
Sweeping and mopping all floors in 2 story home.. Hard wood floors…
doing dishes that were not done by home owner (me)
Cleaning of Birdcage,
Full bathroom cleaning!
and laundry to be washed dried folded/hung and put away!
and help on weekend projects at least 1 time a month!
i would like this to be a weekly pay rate!
any idea’s comments added duities that i may have left out!

Added info- i will be hiring my mother… she is having a hard time and i am SICK of just handing out money to her! and she isn’t having much luck on finding a job! we believe its do to her age! or the world we life in and the lessing of available jobs!

I live in a two bedroom condo in Boston and my cleaning lady comes every other week.
She cleans the kitchen
Empties dishwasher
Cleans both bathrooms entirely
Completely dusts and vacuums entire condo.
Changes linens and makes the beds.
It takes her about 3 hours and I pay her $60 each time.
Occasionally she does a few extras
At Christmas, I give her $60 + a gift with a value of about $50.
